Duke City Sleep Out 2008

A Huge Success

I Slept Through the Duke City Sleep Out Thanks To:

Nineteen sleepers raised over $3,000 on Friday, May 2, by sleeping outside at the AOC shelter.  Participants erected cardboard boxes and tent shelters to sleep in and to draw the public's attention to the plight of the 17,000 persons who are homeless in Bernalillo County each year.  Channel 4 News covered the event:
