Idalia Road Marketplace
We are losing our long-time baker at the Marketplace and need someone who bakes in a certified kitchen environment. We need someone who makes:
Cookies
Muffins
Cakes
Pies
Eclairs
Etc, etc. Bread if possible.
Our baker, a grad from CNM, worked hard to start her catering business while running her bakery at our Marketplace. She has built her catering biz and now has no time for baking.
We advertised her in all of our advertising and will do the same for you, but we expect a commitment as far as humanly possible. Certified kitchen is requisite.
We are open every Saturday and Sunday from 9 to 2 pm until the end of October. We have about 200 to 250 people every Saturday and about 100 to 150 on Sundays. We are a mixed arts/farmers market with some resell, live music every weekend and many special events. The major one coming up will be our Stinking Rose Garlic Festival, August 25. We could use specialty garlic bakery items.
We will place you in an advantagious location with a canopy. Cost is $25 per day.
This will only work, for you, if you live in or very near to Rio Rancho. Driving across town can work, but it will make it more difficult to succeed, we know, we’ve had folks try.
