Latest Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the lifeblood of any organization.  Volunteers helping Metropolitan Homelessness Project (MHP) make a difference in peoples’ lives every day.  Currently, MHP is searching for volunteers to help with the following needs:

  • Volunteer Coordinator – This role is vital to MHP.  It entails coordinating and organizing volunteer responsibilities as well as developing relationships with volunteers.
  • Evening Resident Intake – This role would help evening emergency shelter staff immensely.  Volunteers help with orientation of new residents as they acclimate to new surroundings.
  • Housing/Job Postings – This role would help advertise current housing and job opportunities locally.  Volunteers help by researching local housing and job opportunities and posting them to our website.

If you are interested in volunteering for MHP, please contact David Sisneros at (505) 344-2323 ext 106 or davids@mhp-nm.org.
